Zoo Tycoon 1: Angry Snow Leopards

Thought arctic wolves in Zoo Tycoon were too inane for me? You thought wrong! Apparently, I'm decently skilled at pissing off inhabitants of the frosty corners of the world because snow leopards are next. Preface This tidbit makes the following assumptions: You're playing Zoo Tycoon 1; any expansions or DLCs following that are irrelevant. You've followed the zookeeper's recommendations, and your snow kitties are still angry at you. Kitty at My Foot, and I Want to Touch It Ignore that ridiculous zookeeper and his "expert" opinion; his smells like onions. Keep placing Himalayan Pine Trees in the exhibit in question until you're disappointing your feline(s). If your cats are left wanting for more rocks, install a Highland Rock Formation and as many snowy rocks as their black hearts desire.

Zoo Tycoon 1: Angry Arctic Wolves

Acknowledgements Thanks to a guest on Super Cheats for bringing clarity to the capricious needs of the arctic wolf. Requirements Zoo Tycoon, with or without expansions. An exhibit with angry wolves that refuse to be placated by your previous measures. Do This! Adjust the terrain to suit the preferences of your snow puppies. Don't place any items yet! For shelter, don't place the concrete shelters or even the regular Rock Cave. Drop some pleasant little Snowy Rock Caves  into the exhibit until the wolves start showing their teeth at you. Next, I made the mistake of placing regular Small Rocks. Don't do that. Instead, dab a tonne of happy Small Snowy Rocks  and ignore the tasteful, expert recommendations of the zookeeper. It's the wolves you're looking to please, not some silly self-important human! Keep placing them until even the arctic wolves think you're being tasteless.

Temple of Elemental Evil: Swamp Lotus

Acknowledgements Thanks to Sitra Achara for pointing out where I need to farm the Swamp Lotus. My gratitude also goes to gazra_1971 for making Sitra's piece of advice accessible in his Game Guide and Walkthrough for the Circle of Eight Modpack: New Content Edition . Preface This guide makes the following assumptions: You're playing the Temple of Elemental Evil by Troika Games. The Circle of Eight modpack, New Content edition is installed. You either have the Cure for Amii quest and are having a "lovely" time finding her pungent herb or anticipate doing so. Where in Nulb is Carmen Sandiego? As mentioned in the guide linked in the acknowledgements, you can find the Swamp Lotus in the left side of the "roadless" random swamp encounter map. Where, exactly? I'll show you. Now you know exactly what to look for; it took me about an hour or two of sending my party between the Temple of Elemental Evil and Hommlet, where I'd sell (upon a sin

Neverwinter Nights 2: Change UI Font

Acknowledgements Thanks to Geshi for creating the Neverwinter Nights 2 Japanese font and providing a readme as the mod description. Credit also to rjshae for replying to a similar inquiry by highlighting Geshi's font mod. Notes The game references fonts that are in its program files, not what's installed in Windows. I don't know if other font file formats work with the game. Requirements Font of choice (TTF, or TrueType, font format) Plain text editor Applying the Tweak Navigate to %UserProfile%\My Documents\Neverwinter Nights 2\ui\default If fontfamily.xml doesn't already exist there, download and save it . Open fontfamily.xml. Modify "NWN2_Main.ttf" and its variants to reflect the font name you wish to replace with. The game uses regular, italic, bold, and bold italic versions of the font abbreviated as "b", "i", and "bi". If your font is missing those variants, just substitute with regular or bold, whate
