This guide makes the following assumptions:

• You're playing the Temple of Elemental Evil by Troika Games.
• The Circle of Eight modpack, New Content edition is installed.
• You either have the Cure for Amii quest and are having a "lovely" time finding her pungent herb or anticipate doing so.

Where in Nulb is Carmen Sandiego?

As mentioned in the guide linked in the acknowledgements, you can find the Swamp Lotus in the left side of the "roadless" random swamp encounter map. Where, exactly? I'll show you.

Now you know exactly what to look for; it took me about an hour or two of sending my party between the Temple of Elemental Evil and Hommlet, where I'd sell (upon a single member reaching medium encumbrance) every single item I pick up.
